Liar liar pants on fire!

A year ago, I wrote a post that started with the line of ruzzian popular in Soviet times songs “Do ruzzians want war?” Today I saw a video of ruzzian minister of foreign affairs who is being laughed at during his interview at some event in India. He is saying that ruzzia (!!) was attacked by Ukraine and the audience breaks into laughter. It’s amazing that ruzzians still believe they can keep lying shamelessly that somehow they are the victims of this war while arrogantly committing war crimes daily in Ukraine. Even in countries where ruzzian propaganda gets into mainstream media, people can’t miss the obvious.

Here is the text from my post last year:
“Do Russians want war?” goes a popular propagandist song of Soviet time. The song claims they don’t, Russians say they don’t, but their actions speak so much louder than words! It turns out that it’s not WAR that Russians don’t want, they just don’t want to use the word “war”. To replace it they have come up with a lot of euphemisms. Let’s take a look at those wars that Soviet Union and then Russia were actively a part of or initiated since 1939:

  • Invasion into Poland in September 1939 that allowed Hitler and Stalin divide Poland between those two tyrants is presented in Russian textbooks under official name of Liberation campaign into Western Ukraine and Western Belarus.
  • Soviet-Finish war in 1939-1945 in Russian textbooks is Liberation Campaign into Finland.
  • Second World War 1939-1945 is the only war that Russian call its rightful name (though it’s mainly called in Russia as Great Patriotic War)
  • Russian military repression of Hungarian revolution against Stalinist government in 1956 is called by Russians International Duty of Defending Socialist Achievements
  • Russian invasion into Czechoslovakia in 1968 in Russia Is called International Duty of Defending Socialist Achievements
  • Arab-Israel wars 1967-1979 is called by Russians International Help to Egypt and Syria
  • Afgan war 1979-1989 is called in Russian International Help to Afghanistan
  • First Chechen war 1994-1996 is presented in Russian history textbooks as Operation of restoration of constructive order in Chechnya
  • Second Chechen war 1999-2009 – Counter-terrorist operation
  • Russia-Georgia war in 2008 is called by Russians Operation of enforcing peace (that’s a creative one, don’t you think?:)
  • Annexation of Crimea, Ukraine, 2014 till now – they call it Special operation of returning Crimea into Russia.
  • War in Eastern Ukraine. 2014 till now – Russian denied participation in the war
  • Russia-Ukraine war 2022 is called by Russians Special Military Operation to defend DPR and LPR (occupied by Russia territories of Ukraine that Russia announced as independent republics on Feb 22, 2022)

Do ruzzians want war?! What do you think?
