3/11/2023 – May we never forget those who defend us today

Today’s picture – the Head of Defense Intelligence, the Head of the General Staff, the Commander-in-Chief, and the Minister of Defense, along with thousands of people, pay their respect to “Da Vinci,” the fallen hero of Ukraine.

From Ira Kapitonova in Kyiv (Day 380):

Restore us, O God;
let your face shine, that we may be saved!
Psalm 80:3

Thousands of people came to pay their respects to the fallen hero of Ukraine. Dmytro Kotsiubailo (“Da Vinci”) was only 27. He came to fight for Ukraine’s rights during the Revolution of Dignity when he was 18. When Russia invaded the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, he joined the army. For the past 9 years, he was defending his country at the front line. He was killed in Bakhmut.
I saw this picture and kept thinking about it through the day. The highest ranks of the military, the Commander-in-Chief, the Head of the General Staff, the Head of Defense Intelligence, and the Minister of Defense, bowing their heads and kneeling in honor of the hero who gave his life for his country. Unfortunately, every day Ukraine loses its sons and daughters because of the ruthless imperial ambitions of a neighboring terrorist country. May we never forget those who defend us today.

Evil never stands still and keeps spreading until it’s stopped. Russia hasn’t abandoned its plans to destabilize Moldova and overthrow its government. Please, pray for the enemy’s plans to fail.

In Georgia, the parliament withdrew the scandalous “foreign agent” law in response to the massive protests. We rejoice for Georgia but know that the situation remains tense. Russian propagandists suggested a missile strike on Tbilisi if the situation there gets heated (remember that almost 20% of Georgia is occupied by Russia). Please, pray for the bully to be stopped.

  1. Our Father in heaven,
    Deliver us from evil.
    Give us today our daily bread.
    Lead us not into temptation.
    Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.
    Hallowed be Thy name
    Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven
    For Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory
