4/1/2023 – I will ponder the way that is blameless…

From Ira Kapitonova in Kyiv (Day 401):

I will ponder the way that is blameless. Oh when will you come to me? I will walk with integrity of heart within my house.
Psalm 101:2

Last year today, Bucha was de-occupied, and the next day the world was horrified by the cruelty of the invaders. “Bucha” is a city name that many people know now, just like Irpin, Hostomel, and Mariupol. However, we don’t know the names of “smaller Buchas” that happen daily but simply have no one filming and reporting it.

The Russian army shelled Avdiivka today, taking the life of a grandma and her 5-month-old grandson. The baby’s parents were wounded. The police had been trying to evacuate the family to a safe location, but they kept refusing.

My heart breaks again and again. I know this is not God’s intention for any of us. Lord, have mercy.
