Facebook reminded me today of the trips we were taking in April 2015 to the east of Ukraine which was already devastated by the hybrid war ruzzia started against Ukraine in 2014. We were taking trips to Avdiivka, Maryinka, Opytnoye, Peski, Krasnogorovka and bringing help to elderly and people with many children. They were already on the front lines of war then.
Now many of those places are ruined to the ground. The last three pictures in this album are from today’s Maryinka, a destination point on many of our trips in 2014-2018.
During those years Ukraine was pressured not to try to push ruzzians off our land, to keep cease-fire and allow invaders to keep territories they had occupied. Those years allowed putin to prepare for a big invasion that he hoped would result in taking over the whole Ukraine.
These days putin wants a cease-fire agreement again. His troops took huge losses, he needs a break. But then only way to ensure long-lasting peace is completely liberate our land and to defeat ruzzzia.
