From Ira Kapitonova in Kyiv (Day 422):
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!
“May they be secure who love you!
Peace be within your walls and security within your towers!”
Psalm 122:6-7
On Thursday night, a Russian fighter jet accidentally bombed the Russian city of Belgorod. The bomb left a huge crater, and the explosion blew a car onto the roof of a nearby building. According to the local authorities, three people were injured, and several buildings were damaged.
We don’t know how this “friendly fire” was possible, but we know it was one bomb less to be fired at Ukraine. We pray for more Russian weapons to malfunction.
We greatly appreciate the military aid provided to Ukraine. Today, the 11th Ramsstein meeting focused on air defense systems. European countries had already allocated more than 230 tanks and 1,500 armored vehicles to the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the past year. Germany and the Netherlands provide Ukraine with mine sweepers, vehicles, and tankers. Canada has announced that it will provide Ukraine with sniper rifles, ammunition, and new radios for the Leopard 2 tank. Latvia responded to Ukraine’s request for the supply of air defense systems and decided to transfer to Ukraine all the Stinger air defense equipment that they still had.
All our armed forces can do is the joint success of all the countries that support us in this war against utter wickedness. But Ukraine needs more weapons to stop Russia; otherwise, if we fall, other armies (including NATO armies) would need to fight it.
With spring comes the planting season. Cold spring weather with lots of rain threatens harvest in central regions of Ukraine, while the fields near the frontlines are polluted with Russian bombs, mines, and missiles. Please, pray for God’s protection over our farmers and for an abundant harvest to come in due time.

Our Father in heaven,
Deliver us from evil,
Lead us not into temptation,
Give us today our daily bread,
Forgive us, may we forgive others.
Hallowed be Thy name,
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven
For Thine is the kingdom, power and glory
