From Euromaiden Press: Under what conditions do Russian POWs live?
Photographers Konstiantyn Liberov and Vlada Liberova published a series of photos from one of the places where Russian prisoners of war are being held.

“In short, Russian prisoners of war have absolutely everything for life. I’m not sure if anyone of them has seen such comfortable living conditions at home, in Russia. Full three meals a day, with compliance with calorie norms. Hospital with X-ray, modern dental office, qualified doctors. Constant psychological supervision,” the photographers write.

Prisoners of war have the opportunity to work and receive a salary, somewhere around 30-40 UAH per day (about 1 USD). The earned money can be spent by prisoners of war in a local store: personal hygiene products, snacks, stationery.

“Perhaps now you are thinking that after such treatment from Ukraine, they mostly begin to regret that they went to this war? They begin to realize that they committed a terrible crime? Unfortunately, no. At least those with whom we managed to talk did not utter a single word of repentance. They believe that they were following orders, were forced to do it, did not do anything terrible. And some of them still believe in the victory of Russia,” the authors of the photos share.
One response to “4/23/2023 – Under what conditions do Russian POWs live?”
Only You O Lord can open their eyes to the truth. Did not Jehoram make a feast and feed his enemies in Samaria (Elisha led them there)? So may this treatment be like “coals of fire on their heads.”
