From Maia Mikhaluk in Kyiv (440th day): Despite fierce fighting and huge losses in the war against Ukraine, ruzzian dictator vladimir putin held a parade in moscow on 9 May 2023. No military planes took part in it, and there was only one tank – a World War II-era T-34. So much for the second largest army in the world!
Today’s parade showed that the de-militarization of ruzzia is going at high speed as they keep throwing their people and equipment into Ukraine. Ukrainian official count of ruzzian dead soldiers has reached over 195,000. No wonder the parade this year appeared shorter and much more pared-back than usual. Only some 8,000 troops marched in Red Square this year — the lowest number since 2008. It was students of military schools rather than military who were marching on Red Square.
The parade was a farce and of course, putin’s speech could be a part of Orwell’s book. Just a few hours after the Kremlin’s forces fired its latest barrage of cruise missiles at Ukraine ruzzian dictator was saying that the West’s “untamed ambitions, arrogance and impunity” are driving “a real war” against Russia. Apparently it’s not ruzzia that is terrorizing and destroying Ukraine for over 14 month, it’s the West that is attacking ruzzia.
We pray and hope this was the last parade ruzzia had and after victory of Ukraine this terrorist state will be de-militarized.
A few official guests were attending this farce. Ukraine considers the participation of the leaders of Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan in the ruzzian “victory parade” in moscow alongside the war criminal putin an immoral and unfriendly step.
PS. A recent poll showed that more than 90% of Ukrainians consider putin to be a contemporary Hilter.
