Current buzz words flying the globe – fighter jets, aviation coalition, pilots, F-16s, air defense…

Russian propaganda claimed a year ago that Ukrainian aviation was nonexistent. But this “nonexistent” aviation has proven them wrong by destroying many enemy columns, ammunition depots and positions that they had set up on our land.

Our attack pilots face extreme danger every day. They fly several missions to support our infantry on the hottest and hardest parts of the front. The enemy knows when our planes are in the air and tries to stop them from doing their job. Every flight is a gamble, and every flight saves countless lives of our soldiers on the ground.

The people in these photos are true heroes, and so is their young commander – a man with a big heart, who worries more about his comrades, his boys (as he affectionately calls them), than himself.

There are many stories to tell about the achievements of Ukrainian attack pilots, but they will have to wait until we win this war. Today, let’s salute these brave men, and look into the eyes of the people who have mastered the sky.

But we cannot rest on our laurels. We need modern fighter jets, especially F-16s, to “finish the job” and end this war once and for all.
