Today’s picture – the hospital in Dnipro after the attack.

From Ira Kapitonova in Kyiv (Day 457):

O Lord my God, in you do I take refuge; save me from all my pursuers and deliver me,
Psalm 7:1

When you think you can no longer be surprised by this war, you realize there is no limit to the wickedness of the Russians.

Our intelligence services have warned that the Russians are preparing large-scale provocations at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant in the next few hours to create a center of radiation danger. They plan an explosion (a real or a staged one) at the NPP to announce a radiation leak and blame it on Ukraine. They hope this will make the international community conduct a detailed investigation during which all hostilities will be stopped. In this way, the ruscists hope to get the desired pause, which will be used to regroup the occupation contingent and stop the Ukrainian counteroffensive.

Earlier today, the Russians attacked the city of Dnipro. They hit a hospital (most likely, a mental health institution), a veterinary clinic, and residential buildings and damaged preschools, schools, and a local stadium. At least two people died, and over 30 were injured (including two kids).
They also shelled New York (Donetsk region) and Merefa and Izium (Kharkiv region), damaging residential buildings, schools and preschools, a dispensary, a cinema hall, a gym, and a garage with agricultural machinery.

I have no words and only beg the Lord for mercy and call upon His justice.

Oh, let the evil of the wicked come to an end,
and may you establish the righteous—
you who test the minds and hearts,
O righteous God!
My shield is with God,
who saves the upright in heart.
God is a righteous judge,
and a God who feels indignation every day.
Psalm 7:9‭-‬11

  1. Our Father in heaven,
    Deliver us from evil
Give us today our daily bread
Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.
    Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven
For Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory
