From Ira Kapitonova in Kyiv (Day 505):
Attend to me, and answer me;
I am restless in my complaint and I moan,
because of the noise of the enemy,
because of the oppression of the wicked.
Psalm 55:2-3
Last night was very loud in Kyiv. Just as a finished writing my daily post, explosions started coming. Our air-defense forces shot down 20 kamikaze drones, but the fallen debris caused a lot of damage. One of the buildings hit by the debris is not far from where we live in Kyiv.
We were startled by the sudden thunder noise heard here in the village tonight. Thankfully, it really was just a summer thunderstorm. However, Kyiv City Military Administration had to make a special announcement to confirm it to the disturbed residents. I keep wondering how startling the noise of thunder may be to those who live under constant shelling.
We trust that Victory will come and hope it will happen soon. We are incredibly grateful to our allies for the provided air-defense systems. Thanks to them, we, the people far away from the frontline, are only startled by thunder.

Our Father in heaven,
Deliver us from evil.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us
For Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
