7/20/2023 – Their terrorism will do little to scare Ukrainians, for we’ve been through too much to be afraid now…

From Ira Kapitonova in Kyiv (Day 511):

Hear my cry, O God, listen to my prayer;
from the end of the earth I call to you
when my heart is faint.
Lead me to the rock that is higher than I,
for you have been my refuge,
a strong tower against the enemy.
Psalm 61:1‭-‬3

Last night, Ukraine survived a massive attack from the air. Russia attacked Ukraine with cruise missiles “Kalibr,” cruise missiles Kh-22, cruise missiles “Oniks,” a guided air missile Kh-59, and Iranian-made Shahed drones. Most of these weapons were aimed at Odesa. Russia needed leverage, having suspended the grain agreement, so they attacked seaport infrastructure and grain storage. They destroyed 60,000 tons of grain intended for China that had to be shipped as part of the grain agreement.
One of the missiles left a huge crater in the inner yard of an apartment building. It’s a miracle that the building did not collapse, even though the shock wave damaged residential buildings in the neighborhood.

Russia also plans a false-flag operation on Zaporizhzhia NPP in the last days of July. They are going to stage an attack on the power plant with the use of heavy artillery.

Food terrorism and nuclear threats — these two are Russian favorite “noble” weapons when everything else fails. Things must be going pretty bad for them to resort to the two of them simultaneously.

Well, the Chief of the UK Foreign Intelligence Service MI6 said that, over the course of a month, Kyiv had retaken more territory than the Russians were able to capture in a year. Even though our counteroffensive is progressing rather slowly (to prevent unnecessary personnel loss), Ukraine hasn’t engaged its full potential. That explains Russia’s desperate attempt to scare the world into submission. Their terrorism will do little to scare Ukrainians, for we’ve been through too much to be afraid now.

Lord, have mercy!
