FB post from Sergei Sevdojan: No, this photo is not Ukraine. This is Chechnya. In 1999, tthe capital of Grozny was wiped out by the Russians. But 3 years before that Russia signed a peace treaty with the Chechens. They lost the war and needed a break. Only to come back and kill up to 300000 Chechens, 25% of the whole small but proud nation that wanted freedom.

That’s how peace negotiations with Russia always end. This is why Ukraine doesn’t want them until they leave our land. This is why we are asking for guns.

By the way, the 1st Chechen President Johar Dudayev was killed by a Russian rocket during telephone negotiations on April 21, 1996. They calculated his whereabouts and killed him, pretending to make an agreement. And in 1995, he said in one of his interviews: “Russia will eventually face Ukraine.” Russia will fall when the sun of Ukrainian freedom rises”. He knew this even 28 years ago.
