Nine years ago, on August 29, 2014, after the Ukrainian troops were surrounded in Ilovaisk, Russian invaders offered them a passage to life. However, as the columns of Ukrainian soldiers were retreating, they were treacherously shot by the Russians. Ilovaisk tragedy is one of the most painful memories of this war as that’s when Russia barbarically killed 366 Ukrainian soldiers and captured more than 300 others.

Years have gone by, but we remember those who gave their lives then and keep doing it today.
