From Maia Mikhaluk in Kyiv (625th day):
Let the numbers speak today.
The size of Ukraine is 603,628 km² (larger than France, a bit smaller than the state of Texas). The size of ruzzia is 17,098,242 Km² (about 28 times bigger than Ukraine). 25-35% of ruzzian territory is considered unused or underutilized. Sure, ruzzia is a country that desperately needs land grabs!
The border between Ukraine and ruzzia has a length of 2,295.04 kilometres. For a perspective – the Gaza Strip is bordered by a 60 km-long fence on the Israeli side and 12.6 km-long on its border with Egypt.
During the past 30 days ruzzian troops have focused their attacks/efforts primarily on Avdiivka, a relatively small town in Donetsk region that has a territory of about 29 km² (pre-war population of 32,000). After a month of relentless attacks ruzzians lost 10,000 troops, more than 100 tanks, 250 of armored vehicles, 50 artillery systems, 7 planes SU-25. Ruzzians completely destroyed Avdiivka, out of 32,000 pre-war population it is estimated that only 1542 are still there (and they shouldn’t be – Ukrainian volunteers are risking their lives evacuating people from the Hell ruzzian created there).
One month of battles for a small Ukrainian town that is leveled to the ground already cost ruzzian invaders 10,000 lives (that obviously have no value to ruzzia). Again, for perspective, according to Wikipedia there were 2,402 United States military deaths in the War in Afghanistan in 20 years (2001–2021).
In this war we are dealing with maniacs who lack basic human values, maybe basic human instincts! They blindly follow their maniac leader. For what?

Our Father in heaven,
Deliver us from evil.
Give us today our daily bread.
Lead us not into temptation.
Forgive us our trespasses; may we forgive those who trespass against us.
Hallowed be Thy name [may all obey You]
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven
For Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory.

Our Savior lived as a Jew under Roman occupation. “Since He suffered the test, He is able to help those under trial..
Therefore let us come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may find mercy and grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 2, Hebrews 4
