From: Ira Kapitonova traveling from Kyiv (Day 627):
I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living!
Psalm 27:13
You can go to another country, but it won’t really help you escape from the war if it’s already become a part of you. Whether sleeping on a night train or staying in an apartment on a busy street, your body reacts to noises because it’s used to watching out for them. I have to keep reminding myself that those are safe sounds here.
Kherson was liberated a year ago. It’s been constantly shelled ever since. Now, the authorities recommend evacuation of the children from the area. Parents want to send them to a quiet place where they might get some rest from the daily shellings, but is it possible to rest from something like this?

Our Father in heaven,
Deliver us from evil.
Give us today our daily bread.
Lead us not into temptation.
Forgive us our trespasses; may we forgive those who trespass against us.
Hallowed be Thy name [may all obey You]
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven
For Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory.

Our Savior lived as a Jew under Roman occupation. “Since He suffered the test, He is able to help those under trial..
Therefore let us come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may find mercy and grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 2, Hebrews 4
