What is your only consolation in life or death?

Question: What is your only consolation in life and death? Answer: In soul and body, in life and in death, I belong not to myself but to my faithful Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who paid for all my sins with His precious blood, delivered me from the power of the devil, and keeps me so that not a hair of my head will fall unwillingly My father who art in heaven. He makes everything in the world works for my salvation. By His Spirit, He gives me confidence in eternal life and prepares me to live for Him alone.”

  1. Who shall seperate us from the love of Christ? Shall hardship, persecution, famine, nakedness, sword? In all these things we are more than conquerers through Him Who loved us. For I [Paul] am convinced that nothing: life, death, angels, powers, the present, the future, nothing in all creation can seperate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our lord. (Rom.8)

A man of sorrows and acquainted with grief..

  4. I Thess.4 If we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Rom.8 “I [the apostle Paul] am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor powers, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us [Christisns] from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
