3/21/2024 – Sleepless night for many people in Kyiv…

From: Maia Mikhaluk (757th day): Sleepless night for many people in Kyiv. The air raid started at 3:21am and lasted till 6:10am. The Kyiv city and region were shaken by many explosions. Ruzzians targeted our city with 31 missiles. Our air defense was able to destroy those missiles in the air but debris caused a lot of damage. Can’t even imagine the destruction if those missiles hit the targets. 25,000 Ukrainians rushed into the deep of the night to the nearest subway stations to hide from the bombing. Others were in bomb shelters under their buildings or just staying in beds and praying hard.

If you are a parent or grandparent, try to imagine the anguish of this kind of horror nights when you have to pull your baby or child out of bed and run to a bomb shelter while listening to explosions. It’s been over 2 years of almost daily “9/11” in Ukraine and the world is tired of hearing the same story, it isn’t horrifying anymore to those who observe this from a safe (for now) distance.

Not all kids will go to school today – some were injured, some lost their homes, many were traumatized again by middle-of-the-night horror. Six schools and kindergartens were damaged by ruzzian missiles last night. The targets of ruzzian attack show that there is no military sense to this, the only purpose is to terrorize civilians.

  1. Who knows violent, unjust, slow death better than Jesus? “Father, if You are willing, let this cup pass from Me. Yet not as I will, but as You will.”

Hebrews “We do not have a high priest unable to sympathize with our weakness. We have one tempted in every way just as we are (but He never sinned) Because He suffered the test, He is able to succor those being tempted.”

We do not have a God Who is oblivious in heaven. We have a God Who went through death and out the other side “death no longer has dominion over Him,” Who promised “I will come and take you to be where I am.. All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.” Matthew 28

    Jesus, lover of my soul,

Friends may fail me, foes assail me,

He, my Savior, helps my soul.

    Alleluia! What a Savior!

    Alleluia! What a friend!

    Saving, helping, keeping, loving,

He is with me to the end!

Jesus, what a help in sorrow!

Let me hide myself in Thee!

Storms about me, night o’ertakes me.

He, my Savior, comes to me!
