
Western partners are failing to provide more Patriot air defense systems to Kyiv, despite having more than 100 of them in their arsenals, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said in an interview with Reuters on April 3.
“Our partners have provided various air defense systems, and we appreciate this, but it’s simply not enough given the scale of the war,” said Kuleba.

According to the minister, Ukraine desperately needs at least five to seven additional Patriot systems to counter relentless Russian air strikes.

He suggested that it’s only a matter of political will, and if the West wishes to save their countries from the Russian military threat, it must supply Ukraine with the necessary equipment.
