5/5/2024 – Contend, LORD, with those who contend with me…

From: Maia Mikhaluk (800th day)

To say that it’s hard to believe that we have lived 800 days in the war is to say nothing.

Hopefully, these 800 days gave the world time to recognize the true face of ruzzia, to shake off the myths of great ruzzian culture, to realize the danger ruzzia is posing for the democratic world and Europe in particular.

These have been the days of tremendous suffering and incredible resilience. The war continues. The next two months are expected to be especially hard as ruzzians are preparing for a counteroffensive. The military aid from the USA that was recently approved by Congress will take time to arrive in Ukraine. Meanwhile ruzzians are pushing forward.

Please, keep praying that God will not allow ruzzians to succeed in their evil plans of destroying our country and killing our people.

Psalm 35
1 Contend, LORD, with those who contend with me;
fight against those who fight against me.
2 Take up shield and armor;
arise and come to my aid.
3 Brandish spear and javelin[a]
against those who pursue me.
Say to me,
“I am your salvation.”
4 May those who seek my life
be disgraced and put to shame;
may those who plot my ruin
be turned back in dismay.
5 May they be like chaff before the wind,
with the angel of the LORD driving them away;
6 may their path be dark and slippery,
with the angel of the LORD pursuing them.
7 Since they hid their net for me without cause
and without cause dug a pit for me,
8 may ruin overtake them by surprise—
may the net they hid entangle them,
may they fall into the pit, to their ruin.
9 Then my soul will rejoice in the LORD
and delight in his salvation.

One response to “5/5/2024 – Contend, LORD, with those who contend with me…”

  1. Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven [because we love You and want to please You and know what You say is best] Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us what we owe You as we also have forgiven others what they owe us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one, for Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
