From: Anya Plachkova Hall (Birmingham, AL formerly of Odesa) — Refugee center in Belgorod-Dnistrovsky, Ukraine.

These families’ houses were completely destroyed or looted and destroyed by our “sweet” Russian neighbours. It took these poor men and women five days to get out of occupation. Their car was shelled five times with kids in it, but God surrounded them with His angels.
Looking back, they’re thankful for today. Today is a gift for them, this is why they call it present.

Dear Lord, help me be thankful the way these refugees are. Help me look not at what I lack. Help me look at what I have because I have more than I can handle.

Thank you Lyuda and Surgery Betin for your passion for Christ and these people in real need!

  1. God is a refuge and strength; a very present help in time of need. Lord, show Your strength against the enemy; be a strong REFUGE for Ukraine.
