The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine believes that ruzzians are aiming to launch a missile attack on the dam of the Kyiv Reservoir. It can cause another huge environmental and humanitarian catastrophe similar to the one after ruzzians destroyed Kakhovskaya dam.
Meanwhile the USA is still not allowing Ukraine to use American weapons against military targets on ruzzian territory. We are still denied the right to adequately and proactively defend ourselves. We can only destroy ruzzian missiles as they approach their destinations in Ukraine – at that point even the debris of shot down missile can cause a lot of damage. This limitation on use of American weapons is supposedly preventing escalation of war.

I guess we all can admit that we have become incredibly dependent on technology. In Ukraine, besides the fun of it, it is also a matter of safety. We need to get the air raid alerts and be up-to-date on recent news. We need to be able to quickly look up the location of bomb shelters or get in touch with our loved ones. Even during power outages, your phone can be your flashlight. It’s a necessity for us.
This morning, my phone stopped working. We were in a different city (one I don’t know well), so I felt incredibly uncomfortable. However, I noticed I also had peace, trusting the Lord would take care of us.
We often get swallowed up by our everyday lives, starting to depend on technology, our schedules, or resources, but let us remember that our lives could be miserable “if it had not been the Lord who was on our side.”
P.S. With my phone not working and my laptop sometimes acting out during power outages, I might have to miss a day or two, but I will be back here as soon as I can ))
