They are trying to drown us in blood, pain, and grief. They are very intentional about their attacks being cruel and massacrous. They want to exhaust us physically and mentally and coerce us into “reconciliation” or, rather, submission. But this shall not happen.

Yesterday was another night we spent in the hallway because of the air raid. I’ve lost count of how many times I woke up in my bed in the last two weeks. Waking up in a beanbag may be hard for my body, but waking up to our reality is unbearable for my soul.

Last night, missiles hit Lviv. At least seven people killed. Brutally killed in their beds in the middle of the night. Three of them are children. It would be easy to look up the news and see a picture of a family – parents and three girls. The youngest was only seven. Was. They’re gone. Their dad is the one who survived. How do you live after that?

We had to move to our apartment hallway before I could finish this post. Sirens went off because of the ballistic missile threat for Kyiv and the northern regions of Ukraine. Before that, there was a warning that strategic bombers were taking off in Russia. I guess another sleepless night is in store for us, but we will not succumb to their evil plots.

Save the lives of people in Ukraine. Encourage your government to send military aid and allow Ukraine to strike back.
