From: Ira Kapitonova in Kyiv (Day 976)
But you, you are to be feared!
Who can stand before you when once your anger is roused?
Psalm 76:7
It’s another night in our apartment corridor.
I’ll be honest. When I check the news and see that drones are taking a route that’s not going through our neighborhood, I feel relieved. This selfish, “At least it’s not me and my family.” And even though I know this reaction is natural, I don’t like myself for it.
It looks like a few leaders have the same mindset towards Ukraine. “As long as it’s not my country, I don’t care.” How else would you explain the visit of the UN Assembly General to Russia? Can you imagine that he also made a subsequent attempt to visit Ukraine? What was he thinking? I’m sure all of those were just protocol for him with no real meaning. However, this type of self-centered attitude will not make anyone safer. Instead, it will only bring the disaster closer.
One response to “10/27/2024 — But you, you are to be feared! Who can stand before you when once your anger is roused?”
I have not commented for a long while, but I have not stopped praying DAILY for Ukraine, its people, its military, its families, its protection and an END TO THE WAR!
