From: Maia Mikhaluk in Kyiv (1002nd day) — Today we woke up to the first snow this season. Kids were excited, snow was beautiful even if very wet. The next few days are still going to be above 0 and snow will melt, but the winter is definitely here. Blackouts are back in our routines. Our energy infrastructure is rebuilding/recovering after recent attacks. No surprises there – attacks and blackouts, as expected.
Ruzzians used an intercontinental missile to attack Dniper. Much more expensive piece of metal that does the same damage that cheaper missiles do. That missile was supposed to scare the West. Looking at the posts of some of my friends, the scare worked. Life of a bully is easy in today’s world – people are ready to throw their neighbors under the bus if it helps them feel they would be safer that way. The threats are empty – putin will not go against any Western country because his war against NATO would truly last only 3 days and ruzzian army would be done once and for all.
Today is also a Day of Dignity and Freedom in Ukraine, commemorating the start of the Revolution of Dignity in 2014 when Ukrainians took a stand for our European future when our president at the time was selling us out to ruzzia. If we didn’t take that stand, we would live now in a different country – similar to Belarus, not free people, not a free country, but a satellite of ruzzia led by kremlin’s puppet dictator like putin and lukashenko. We continue to fight for our freedom and independence.

PS. The first photo in this post is of today’s snow, the second is from 2014 Revolution of Dignity when hundreds of thousands of people were peacefully protesting on Independence Square against Ukraine’s alignment with ruzzia.
