What is Advent and why is it
important?

Advent is a special time in anticipation of the birth of a Savior, Jesus Christ. This is a time when we pause in the midst of routine, to turn our hearts to God, renew our faith, and remember that He is with us
even in the most difficult moments of our lives, Today, as our country goes through war, this time takes on even more profound significance. We see hard times all around, but Advent reminds us that God brings hope even in the darkness. He is our
Emmanuel, which means “God is with us” In these days of waiting for Christmas, let us pray for peace in our hearts and in our land. Remember that true hope is not circumstances that change, but
God, who unchangingly loves and supports us.

What can you do during Advent?

1. Read the Bible daily. Open the Word of God, which reminds you of His faithfulness and plan of salvation.

2. To pray. Pray for loved ones, for Ukraine, for those who need God’s support.

3. Doing the good of God. Even small acts of love can become a great testimony of God’s action in the world.

Dear friends, let’s hold on to God, for He is our rock. This Advent, let us glorify Him, giving thanks for life, for strength in each day, and for the hope our Savior
is born. 🙏

“God is for us protection and power, help in trouble that will soon be found” (Psalm 45:2).

May this promise be your reminder that God is there for each of us, even in our darkest times. ❤️
