For to us a child is born, to us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon his shoulder,
and his name shall be called
Wonderful Counselor,
Mighty God,
Everlasting Father,
Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 9:6

Merry Christmas, dear friends!
Christmas reminds us of the greatest promise fulfilled, the greatest miracle incarnated, and the greatest hope coming near.

May the joy of Christmas fill your hearts on the heaviest days. May the hope of Christmas raise you when you fall in exhaustion. May the love of God be your guiding force in your daily encounters. May the peace of Christmas help you withstand the strongest storms on the darkest nights.

For us in Ukraine, every day is a reminder of this miracle. We are still alive and well after almost 3 years of full-scale war and 11 years of hybrid aggression. We can still rejoice. We still hope and hold onto God’s promise of bringing justice and peace. And we are not alone! We have you, our dearest friends, who pray for us. And we have Him, the wonderful Emmanuel. He is with us!

Christ is born! Let’s praise His name!
